About this file
The file is a document containing Contractor Questions and National Park Service (NPS) Responses related to the Arlington Lawn Restoration project at Hot Springs National Park. The responses address three key questions: (1) NPS will not accept alternative native or replacement plants, (2) the Park will accept smaller or larger plant gallon sizes with adjusted quantity or spacing, and (3) the Park maintains its stance of not accepting alternative native replacements.
This document is supplementary to Solicitation Number 140P6025Q0051, a small business set-aside contract for landscaping services under NAICS Code 561730. The project involves redesigning and rehabilitating flower beds along Arlington Lawn to improve aesthetics, functionality, and use sustainable native and pollinator-friendly plants. The anticipated work period is from August 2025 to February 1, 2026, with no planting to begin before September 15th, 2025. Quotes are due by July 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM CDT, and should be submitted electronically to Adam Kircher at adam_kircher@nps.gov.
