This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the National Park Service regarding exterior painting and hurricane shutter replacement at the Fort Matanzas (FOMA) National Monument Visitor's Center located at 8635 A1A S, St. Augustine, FL 32080. The building, last painted over 24 years ago, is a historic structure requiring specialized preservation care. The contractor must clean, prep, and paint all exterior wood features including siding, shutters, windows, window trim, doors, door trim, fascia, and soffit using Benjamin Moore Regal Select Exterior Paint (Flat) in platinum gray with Ben Moore Classic ingredients (B-1Y84, C-215, I-70). All new wood components require primer on all sides and two finish coats, with bare wood exposed during preparation also requiring primer. Shutter hardware must be painted flat black.

Replacement shutter hardware—hinges, latches, shutter dogs, and handles—must be iron painted flat black, with screws made of 316 stainless steel, brass, or bronze painted flat black. Currently, seven missing hooks or hardware items require replacement, with potential for additional missing hardware discovery.
