About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for the Cumberland Island National Seashore Mainland Museum Flooring project, Solicitation 140P5425R0017. The Q&A addresses two key points: the epoxy floor coating specifications and on-site logistics. Regarding the flooring, the park expects a two-part epoxy finish tinted to conceal slab surface imperfections and crack repairs, with the final tint color and finish opacity to be selected after the awarded contractor submits the manufacturer's product specifications. The second question addresses site logistics, indicating that dumpster placement and staging areas will be discussed during the pre-construction meeting with the winning bidder to manage waste and debris disposal.
