About this file
This document is a Questions and Responses file for a federal contract opportunity issued by the National Park Service for Biscayne National Park. The solicitation (140P5425Q0028) seeks procurement of a vessel between 24 to 27 feet long, with an outboard engine and trailer. Key details from the Q&A include specifications that the vessel hull is preferred to be fiberglass but aluminum is acceptable, and the 25T model (28'0" overall) is deemed acceptable while the 23T model (25'9" overall) is not due to deck space and potential weight capacity limitations. The agency indicates they want delivery as soon as the vessel is available, with the question deadline set for 06/13/2025 at 4:00 PM EST. The solicitation allows for slight variations in vessel length, specifically noting that boats cannot be shorter than 24 feet but can be slightly larger than the specified range.

A Fiberglass hull is preferred but Aluminum is acceptable.
3. Would our 23T or 25T fit your criteria? The 23T is 25’9” overall when you include the bracket. The 25T is 28’0” overall.
The 23T would not be acceptable due to deck space and possible weight capacity issues. The 25T is acceptable.
