About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a federal contract solicitation. The Q&A clarifies several key details about the procurement: (1) equal brands are acceptable if they meet or exceed specifications, (2) all units are 28/240 volt single phase units, and (3) this is a supply order only, not a purchase and installation contract. The solicitation involves HVAC or refrigeration equipment, with specific guidance about refrigerant types (410A or 32B), and requires vendors to quote with the specified refrigerant type in their Statement of Work (SOW).
