Questions and Answers

140P5322R0019

1. Will the park allow for a treated SYP product for the benches?

Answer: Park will not allow pine for picnic table benches, per the SOW the benches need to be either Locust or White Oak.

2. In item one (Project Background) of the SOW for the Picnic Table project, it states there are 166 tables being replaced and the numbers in this section do add up to 166. But section 5 / V showing the Gov furnished items, shows only 127 tables being provided; as does the Bid Schedule line items. The difference from what I see is the 39 tables listed in the Background section slated for the Doughton Park Picnic Area. I just need to know if there was a typo in the 166, or if the 39 for Doughton Park Picnic area was forgotten about, or if we are to supply them……which if so, it would need added to the Bid Schedule.

Answer: 130 government furnished picnic tables to be placed total

• 23 at Cumberland Knob Picnic Area

• 78 at Doughton Park Campground in loop A and B

• 29 at Julian Price Memorial Campground, most in Loop C but also loop A and B o this is up three from the initial SOW
