140P5322Q0052 Great Smoky Boulder Delivery

Vendor question #1:

Does this requirement have a minimum and/or maximum weight for individual boulders? For example, a 24" boulder may way as little as 200lbs.

Park Response #1:

No weight requirement, just the size requirements in the SOW: 3-4 feet in diameter; approximately 50% of boulders shall be 36”-48” in diameter and approximately 50% shall be 24”-36” in diameter. No boulders should exceed 5’ in length along longest axis.

Vendor question #2:

2: Can photos be submitted of the boulder for approval, having trouble having one shipped from out of state.

Park Response #2:

Yes, photos are fine will need 4 different views. The sample should be roughly 1 foot in diameter and representative of the color and shape (rounded versus angular) variation expected of the final product.

Vendor Question #3:

3: Want to confirm that at the Gun Range there is no way to get a tractor tailor, even if the trailer is backed in?

Park Response #3:

Tractor trailer is a no-go. The angle is tough
