140P5322Q0012 BLRI Tank Inspection/Cleaning Vendor Questions Questions 11-12

11. Can the sediment from the water tanks be discharged on the premises of the water tanks? If not, can d-watering or filter bags be used as a method to capture and contain solids / sediment contents, removed from inside the tanks during cleaning? (filtered water will be dispersed on nearby ground)

11. Customer Response: Yes, the sediment can be discharged on the premises, with reasonable discretion. Meaning, so it doesn't cause erosion at the site.

12. Do any of these tanks have baffled curtains or baffle walls? If so, which ones and how many?

12. Customer Response: There are not any baffles curtains or baffle walls in the tanks.

#13. Do you know what town these tanks are in i see the county. But not the town...reason being is if awarded we have to drive there and we would like to see towns so we know where we would have to stay and how much fuel be expected to spend. Thanks for your communication!

13. Customer Response: The tanks to be cleaned are not located in any towns, they are located along the Blue Ridge Parkway. See attached document with the Tanks, Counties and Cities.
