Answer: No more than 100 Pages, and the Cover, title page, TOC and resumes will be excluded from the page count

2. Is there a preferred Font (and/or size) for the response?

Answer: No preferred Font, must be legible for the evaluators to evaluate

Answer: Yes, SAM reps and certs is acceptable.

4. Would NPS please confirm number of Interviews expected to be produced – (if 25 are the other 5 going to be Optional within the pricing? 25 is going to be a better cost than 30 but if contractors don’t bid for 30 they will take a loss)

5. How long are the Videos expected to be? Please provide Min. and Max (10 min? 20 min? Per Video) (estimated of time would assist with estimating pricing)

Answer: Length will depend on interveiwees. Most Oral Histories are 30-90 minutes. Min. 20 Max 120.

Answer: Oral history collections exist at multiple repositories. It is not expected that the contractor review each video-but survey for interviewees and topics to help prioritize and avoid duplicating efforts.

Answer: The list needs to be created. NPS will assist.

Answer: Unknown. Probably none. The Grand Hall Lodge is in a predominantly commercially zoned area.

9. How many interviews are expected per Video Topic? (estimated would assist with estimating pricing)

Answer: There is not prescriptive number per topic. The number of interviews will be determined by interviewees that are identified and willing to be interviewed.

10. Will the government provide a pricing sheet for the response? (for ease of response and ease of review?)

Answer: No, there is no specific format. We will be evaluating overall price however, a cost breakdown is necessary for negotiation/evaluation purposes. This will allow us to determine if the pricing is fair and reasonable. Also, it will let us know if you understand the project fully.

11. Demonstrated Past Performance –-Would the government consider allowing Contractor Personnel experience as relevant for reference as past performance and knowledge of what is required to lower risk to the government? (Key Individuals that will be performing on the contract?)

Answer: Yes, this will show us that you understand the project and have knowledge of the work to be performed

The website videos are 1280x720HD and 2.54 Mbit/s. Are the specifications required in the requirements for recording quality only or are they for the final product? (If they are for the final product, they may not play on a typical website or the general PC/Laptop).

17. Would NPS please confirm Video specifications for the website requirements of Featured Videos (3) to be produced?

Answer: There are no Featured Videos for website requirements in the SOW.

18. Requirements state that the deliverables are to be able to be screened on a basic computer, please confirm that is correct. (Most computers don’t have the capability to play 4-K video files and the website itself will not be able to play a 4K file without it being scaled back.) Please confirm that the Master Video file is the only Video files are the only video files that should be in 4K?

Answer: 4k is preferred but not required.

19. Please confirm that Final FV are to be delivered in 4K or 2K would NPS prefer that the contractor include files that will play on a website?

(The interviewee’s personal life always come into play when scheduling and filming individual interviews, (no matter how much precise planning is performed people have accidents and additional impacts in their lives that lay beyond the contractor’s ability to foresee when planning interview filming activities all contractors can add an estimated amount to the price but laying it out everyone would assist in Pricing)

Answer: The contractor can submit that as a line in their proposal and will be evaluated as part of the overall price.
