SPECIFICATION

Purchase of Turf and Debris Street Sweeper

Provide a Harper Hawk Sweeper to Independence NHP.

This Harper Hawk Sweeper is needed to provide a variety of support work for the park trash removal throughout the park, hard surfaces, walks and pathways. This equipment will also be used to remove debris from turfed areas throughout the park.

BACKGROUND:

The Park is made up of 55 acres and approximately 17 miles of walks and cobblestone drives. This equipment will be used to support preservation and maintenance of the park’s managed landscapes and walkways.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Salient Characteristics:

- Fuel:

o Diesel

- Capability:

o Turf and debris clearing o Curb and sidewalk clearing

▪ Articulated Vacuum extension hose.

o Sweeper height adjustment vacuum/sweeper

▪ Must have the ability to raise above 6” to clear curbs.

- Dump Height Requirement o 6’

▪ Ability to dump into a mobile dump trailer for material disposal.

▪ Ability to dump refuse from rear hopper, with rear camera assist.

- Safety Features:

o Horn o Back-up audible alarm o LED lighting – Front/rear, brake, etc. o Front and rear work lights o Back-up Camera o Parking brake o Fire Extinguisher

- Size Requirement (Relative width and height of gate entry points) o Length approximately 164” o Width approximately 64” o Height approximately 72”

Training

- Provide training and operator certification (if applicable) for up to 15 personnel on the operation of the equipment.

- Provide training on the basic troubleshooting and maintenance of the equipment for up to three personnel.

- Training can be provided on-site at Independence or at the vendor’s location (if local).

Warranty

- Min. 1 Year Standard Manufacturer’s Warranty

- 180 days or less after receipt of award

- Shall be coordinated with the COR at least 72 hours in advance
