EVALUATION OF PRICE

Whether a proposed price is unrealistically low may be considered in the context of comparison to other price proposals received as well as to the Independent Government Estimate or to any other information deemed useful.

The Offeror’s price proposal will not be point scored or adjectivally rated, but will be evaluated in accordance with one or more of the techniques identified in FAR 15.404. The price proposal will also be used as an aid to determine the offeror’s understanding of the requirements of the solicitation, price reasonableness, and to assess the validity of the offeror’s approach to managing and performing the work.
