SECTION M EVALUATION AND AWARD FACTORS

Each proposal submitted on this solicitation will be evaluated according to the criteria stated below.

Factors are listed in descending order of importance. An evaluation will be performed on each offeror's proposal based on the information furnished and subsequent information gathered after proposals are received, such as responses from references or data from past performance databases.

L submittals will be used as supporting information to determine the award decision.

High Risk Performance did not meet some contractual requirements. There were problems, some of a somewhat serious to serious nature. 9.1510.310 Basis for Award

Location: Tucson Field Office

Solicitation Number: 140L6418Q0054

(Aug 1999)

Award will be made to the responsible firm whose quote is most advantageous to the

Government, price and past performance being considered. Past performance information may be based on the Government's knowledge of, and previous experience with, the quoter, or other reasonable basis.

(ii) Obviously misplaced decimal points will be corrected;

(iii) Apparent errors in extension of unit prices will be corrected; and

(iv) Apparent errors in addition of lump-sum and extended prices will be corrected.

The Government reserves the right to award without discussions as well as the right to hold discussions. If discussions are held, they will be held with all quoters if the Government makes a major change in specifications or terms and conditions. Discussions may be conducted with the firm submitting the lowest priced quotation if price only is discussed.

For the purpose of initial evaluation of quotations, the following procedures will be utilized in resolving arithmetic discrepancies found on the face of the schedule as submitted by quoters:

(i) In case of discrepancy between unit price and extended price, the unit price will govern;

File details come from the government source that posted it.
