Statement of Work

BLM Law Enforcement Patrol Vehicle Upfitting Bureau of Land Management, Fairbanks District Office 222 University Avenue, Fairbanks, AK 99709

Contract will include removal and transferring equipment from old truck to new truck and purchasing any required new equipment. BLM will provide Motorola, Bendix King, Aviation and CB radio systems and cell phone booster for provider to install. The old truck is a 2016 Chevy 2500 and the new truck is a 2024 Ford F-250 8-ft bed FX.

Vendor shall TRANSFER and INSTALL the following equipment from old truck to new truck:

· Remove vehicle law enforcement decals.

· Reinstall 2 surface mount red/blue LED emergency lights mounted in grill facing forward (provided)

· Reinstall 2 surface mount red/blue LED emergency lights mounted on Backrack facing rear (provided)

· Reinstall Wig wag control for headlights and taillights (provided)

· Reinstall overhead lightbar (provided)

· Reinstall Federal Signal pathfinder siren controller (handheld controller) (provided)

· Reinstall Federal signal siren in front grill (provided)

· Truck storage box bed mount (provided)

· Install single prisoner quarter cage for passenger side rear seat (provided)

· Reinstall white light mounted in prisoner cage (provided)

· Cover rear passenger side window and door latch in prisoner cage (provided)

· Install BLM supplied striping and badge decals (provided)

· Reinstall mounts for all supplied radios within center console. Handheld controllers will be mounted on center console. (provided)

· Reinstall power supplies and fuse boxes. (provided)

· Reinstall rifle/shotgun lock mount. Rifle lock mount attached to prisoner cage between front seats, hidden switch under dash below and right of steering wheel (provided)

· Reinstall radio speakers (provided)

· Reinstall truck bed snow machine ramp (provided)

· Reinstall front door running boards (provided)

· Reinstall winch (provided) into Westin HDX bumper (new)

· Reinstall all antennas onto new Back Rack.

Vendor shall PURCHASE and install the following NEW items:

· Westin HDX front bumper w/pod fog lights.

· New front center seat radio console.

· Back Rack to protect rear window.

All holes in body from equipment removal shall be filled and made watertight.

Offeror shall include proposed schedule.

Special Requirements: All standard warranty provided by the vendor for supplied equipment and for the labor associated with the installation is acceptable. No requirement is made for additional warranty on labor or supplied equipment.

Delivery of Vehicles: BLM staff will transport the vehicles to/from the Contractor’s location if it is within 200 driving miles or less of 222 University Avenue, Fairbanks, Alaska 99709. If the Contractor’s facility is outside of this area, all vehicles shall be transported to and from Contractor’s facility by a DOT-licensed and insured car carrier.

Location of Work: Work shall be completed at the Contractor’s facility. The vehicle shall be kept in a secure location with controlled access while at the Contractor’s facility.

Damage to Government Property: The Contractor is responsible for repairing or replacing any Government property damaged during work. This includes equipment items, the entire vehicle while in their possession, and other Government property provided for services. The Contractor shall annotate existing damage upon vehicle delivery and is liable for additional damage caused by them. Such additional damage shall be corrected to the satisfaction of the designated government technical point of contact.
