About this file
This document is an amendment to a solicitation issued by the Bureau of Land Management seeking proposals for engineering evaluation and cost analysis services related to the Hi-Yu Mine site. The amendment extends the proposal due date from September 19, 2023 to September 21, 2023 to allow offerors time to conduct a site visit. The period of performance for the resulting contract is expected to be from October 1, 2023 through March 28, 2025. The amendment clarifies that approximately 200 linear feet of fencing at the site will require repair or replacement and consists of chain link material. Public access is permitted for site visits via Fairbanks Creek Road, though entry into fenced areas or on-site buildings is discouraged until a work plan is approved. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged.

LIST OF CHANGES:
Bids due date: 19-SEP-23 changed to 21-SEP-23
This modification is to clarify and list questions and answers.
-What is the linear footage of fence that will need repair/replacement.
Answer: Approximately 200 linear feet of fence will need repair/replacement.
-What is the material of the existing fence?
Answer: The fence is chain link.
-Is the location open to public access for site visit.
Answer: The location is open to the public and accessible via Fairbanks Creek Road. From EIFO¿s
Field Manager, Tim Hammond: ¿In terms of public access, there is no restriction on public access to the land in general, but the purpose of the fence is to keep people away from hazardous conditions and we don't encourage anyone to go into the fenced area or the building, or to dig in potentially contaminated sites, before a contract is awarded, and a work plan approved.
Just looking and taking reference photos should not be a problem.¿
-If site is open to public access, can we please get an extension to gather more information from the site visit?
Answer: I have extended this until 9/21/2023.
All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
Period of Performance: 10/01/2023 to 03/28/2025
