About this file

This document is an Amendment (AMD001) containing Questions and Answers (Q&A) for Solicitation 140L6225Q0029, a Bureau of Land Management procurement for a fuels service truck. The Q&A clarifies logistics for truck delivery and work location, with the government confirming they will deliver the truck to the contractor's shop and retrieve it after the new truck bed installation is complete.

The related federal contract opportunity involves purchasing a CM SK Deluxe flatbed or equivalent for a 2025/2026 Ford F-550, with a firm fixed purchase order valued between $10,000 and $25,000. Key requirements include active SAM registration, compliance with Section 889 clauses, and submission of quotes via email to hle@blm.gov. Quotes must include the Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), be submitted on SF-1449 and Bid Schedule forms, and include sufficient technical details to demonstrate acceptability. The procurement will be conducted using Simplified Acquisition Procedures with F.O.B. destination terms and 30-day prompt payment after delivery.

Text version

AMD001 (Q&A) Answers are in RED Q1. Will the user arrange pick-up and delivery, or should transportation costs be included in the quote? I will deliver the truck to the contractor’s shop and then pick it up once they have provided and installed the new truck bed.

Q2. Where will the work take place—on-site or at the contractor’s workshop? If performed off-site, who will be responsible for returning the truck once the work is completed: the contractor or the government? I will deliver the truck to the contractor’s shop and then pick it up once they have provided and installed the new truck bed.
