Project Location: Work is located in Grand County, UT. Poison Spider Trailhead is located on the East side of Utah, adjacent to State Route 279, 4 miles South of Hwy 95 (10 miles Travel Southwest of Moab, UT).
Magnitude of Construction: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of this construction requirement is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00
Estimated Period of Performance: 60 days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. June 2024 – August 2024.

Small Business Size Standard: $45.0M
Solicitation Set-Aside: 100% Total Small Business - Only companies that qualify as a small business under the applicable size standard will be considered. A tiered evaluation preference will be used to first evaluate proposals from Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE); if no award can be made to an ISBEE, proposals from small disadvantage business (SDB) will be reviewed; if no award can be made to an SDB, all remaining proposals will be reviewed.
Solicitation Issuance Date: BLM-UT anticipates issuing a subsequent request for quotes (RFQ) on or about August 4, 2023, to SAM.gov. To obtain the solicitation and/or amendments/updates for this project, contractors shall monitor the solicitation at the sites mailto:tbluntmayes@blm.gov listed above. Interested parties shall periodically check for amendments and other changes to the solicitation documents. This service is provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guaranteed notification. Subscribers to this service are ultimately responsible for reviewing this site for all information relevant to this solicitation.
Registration Requirements: To be considered eligible for award, vendors must be registered and have active profiles with completed representations and certifications in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (https://sam.gov/content/entity-registration). There is NO fee to register for this site.
Site Visit: There will be a site visit Approximately 1-2 weeks after the issuance of the
RFQ.
Project Description: Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to perform the following work: remove existing asphalt apron; hauling and placing 3/4” Hot-Mix Asphalt (HMA); and provide permanent pavement marking.
Bonding: A Bid Bond is required. Performance and Payment Bond shall be provided by the awardee prior to issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
Attachments: These attachments are DRAFTs only. Finalized attachments will be issued with the subsequent RFQ.
