About this file
This document contains notes from a site visit and questions and answers regarding Solicitation Number 140L5723Q0049 from the Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management Utah Region to renovate the Poison Spider Trailhead. The site visit addressed questions from potential offerors such as whether asphalt specifications conform to Federal Highways standards, dimensions for pavement striping if requested, and the methodology for removing existing asphalt which was deemed a "way and means" question not specifically prescribed by the Government. Work is slated to begin in Spring/Summer 2024 and night work is allowed with approval from the Contracting Officer's Representative. The existing pavement will tie into road DR-278 with a clean edge.
