Questions asked prior to the meeting. – These were also discussed during the meeting.
Q1: The RFP state to following the Tres Rios protocols. However, the protocols provided state that callback survey points are to be 300 meters apart and transect lines 150 meters apart. The provided map shows survey points approximately 200 meters apart. Are we only conducting callbacks at the points given or are we also walking transects in between points? If so, what is the spacing anticipated for the transects?
A1: The distance on the map, in the google earth, and ESRI shapefile is 300 meters between points on the north and south transect lines. The transect lines are 150 meters apart. The call points are located on the transects and the call point are where the broadcast calls need to be conducted. Any observations of raptors while walking between points needs to be recorded.
Q2: Who needs to be included as Key Personnel for this proposal? The RFP lists Foreman and Inspector, which don’t seem relevant to the tasks. I’m wondering if this should be Contractor Representative, Project Manager, and maybe Field Crew Lead?
A2: Yes, the Contractor Representative, Project Manager, and Field Crew Lead.
