About this file

This is Amendment 0001 to Solicitation 140L4326Q0107 issued by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Oregon-State Office Procurement Management Branch for Gate Opener Replacements in Roseburg, Oregon. The amendment is effective August 13, 2026, and is not extended. The purpose of this modification is to post answers to contractor questions and include the site visit log sheet. The period of performance runs from September 17, 2026, to December 18, 2026.

The solicitation involves replacement of gate opener systems at the Roseburg District facility. Key technical details include: current motors operate at 115V; contractors must connect to existing electrical power and control wiring after field verification; each gate has two access sensors located under asphalt on both sides; contractors must test and commission both gate operators upon installation to verify proper operation, safety features, and compatibility with existing controls; and one gate must remain operational at all times during construction to maintain facility access. The Questions and Answers document addresses contractor inquiries regarding voltage requirements, access card reader reprogramming, ground sensor locations, and construction access procedures. A site visit/pre-bid conference was conducted on August 26, 2026, at 1:00 pm at the Roseburg District Office (777 NW Garden Valley Blvd, Roseburg, OR 97471), facilitated by Summer Estes, CET, with attendance from Island Fence and Champs Fab.
