The Center features exhibits focused on life of those that embarked on the Oregon Trail, discovery areas with interactive components, and trail access to preserved wagon ruts.

Visitors come from all over the country. The Center is located five miles outside of Baker City and there can be confusion regarding location and directions. Directional signage is a crucial tool for operational success.
