About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the de-installation, installation, and outfitting of new law enforcement vehicles. The SOW details the requirements for stripping existing Ford F150 and Ford Expedition vehicles of law enforcement equipment, retaining any useful parts, and outfitting three new 2023 Ford F150 vehicles with specified equipment such as light bars, sirens, radios, and other law enforcement-specific components. The work is to be performed for the U.S. Department of the Interior's Bureau of Land Management Nevada Region under Solicitation Number 140L3924Q0063, with an anticipated work period of approximately 3/25/2024 to 5/25/2024. The SOW specifies that the vendor must provide manufacturer, model, and itemized pricing for all new parts, and the BLM has the right to disqualify any part deemed unsuitable. It also notes that the BLM will be responsible for the cost of any unusable parts that require replacement during the installation process.

Statement of Work: Law enforcement vehicles (3) equipment de-installation, installation, outfitting of new law enforcement vehicles.
Date Submitted 2/2024
Vehicle: (3) 2023 Ford F150 FX4 Govt. Plate(s): N/A VIN(s): 1GNSKLEDXNR239520/ Awaiting VIN (both vehicles are being manufactured)
Notes on equipment for installations:
The equipment needed for installation will be a combination of new and reused parts.
Items that are serviceable will be reused, but there may be an unforeseen possibility that some of these items will not work with the new vehicle or are found to be in disrepair once they are removed from the old vehicle. Quotes are not required to reflect this possibility.
The BLM will be responsible for the cost of a new part above and beyond the initial quote if any part is found to be unusable at the time of installation. However, the vendor will be required to notify the BLM of any unusable part, suggested replacement part, and obtain approval before purchase and installation.
For all new parts needed to complete the installation, the vendor must include manufacturer, model, and itemized price of equipment in the quote. All new parts must meet the below set standards or specific make or model as noted or be equivalent. The BLM has the right to disqualify any part that is deemed not comparable or found to be unsatisfactory.
Work should start approximately around 3/25/2024 and end around 5/25/2024. Current orders on supplier parts is approximately a 45 – 60 day lead time. Start and completion dates will allow for delivery of requested equipment before installation. Vehicle start to completion times should not take more than 3 weeks per vehicle.
Outfitter will allow for BLM input on equipment location preference during installation.
