Questions and Answers

Water Testing - Are one of these three types of testing are adequate for your requirements. 1)Fecal Coliform Bacteria test, 2)Total coliform bacteria test, or 3)Domestic well test (tests for metals, other biologics, turbidity, etc.

· Total coliform testing is all that will be required.

Pipe requirements - Sch 80PVC is mentioned, however our standard practices, and supplier recommendations, have dictated sch120 pipe as adequate, especially with higher weighted and longer column pump systems. Volume of flow is restricted slightly due to smaller inner diameter. Can sch120 be proposed?

· No issue with Sch 120 being proposed

Wells Fire Station - Any info available on the proposed location of the drive/control panel? Mainly interested in physical area and outdoor/indoor exposuer.

· Drive/control panel is located indoors at same building as pressure tanks.

What is the diameter of the existing pump and well casing?

· Pump diameter at Wells FS is unknown, well casing is 10” steel.

An additional Clarification, this project is considered Residential construction, not heavy construction.
