SOLICITATION Q&A July 15, 2024
Upper Smith Fork Unit - Southern WY Mule Deer Habitat - CRI Class II Solicitation Number 140L3723Q0118 Amendment 0002
CONTRACTOR QUESTIONS GOVERNMENT RESPONSE
1. The solicitation states the total acreage is 24,600 (page 1, box 20), whereas in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), the total acreage is stated as 26,600 under II. Project Location and Scope (page 2). Can you verify the total acreage.
1. 24,6000 acres is the correct acreage.
2. The PWS indicates the area to be covered is in T28N-R119W and T28N- R118W. Based on the provided maps in the solicitation, the survey area is in T27N-R119W and T27N-R118W as well.
Can you confirm is this is accurate or is there a projection error?
2. Yes, that area T27N-R119W and T27N-R118W should also be encompassed.
3. Page 1 of the PWS state the project area shapefiles can be provided as part of this solicitation, will those be included with the questions amendment?
3. Maps that are Geo referenced will be sent upon request to lneely@blm.gov.
Sending geo-referenced maps over sam.gov typically does not work.
4. Based on the solicitation, the Period of Performance is 9/30/2024 to 01/30/2025 (page 4), can this schedule be negotiated given the time of year is variable for length of working daylight hours and the high probability of weather delays during the stated period of performance?
4. Dates can be negotiated, we would just like it to be done at the latest by the End of February 2025. If you want to start sooner that is totally acceptable, but you must negotiate your proposed dates in your quote.
5. Can an Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) be used? (the UAS will meet the USDI-BLM requirements regarding “covered” UAS manufacturers)?
5. UAS will not be allowable for this agreement.
