PROJECT DESCRIPTION: BIFO Trail Maintenance Solicitation No. 140L3624Q0089

Questions and Answers Solicitation Number: 140L3622Q0089 Project Title: BIFO Trail Maintenance

Q1: We noticed that in some areas the trail has been washed down to solid rock in the more mountainous areas. The solicitation mentions the use of a trail dozer, but in these particular areas the dozer wouldn’t work without hauling new material in. Our thought was to take the berm material that has collected on the side of the washed out areas over time, and move it back into the road covering the exposed rock, and then going over it with the dozer. This would require the use of a mini excavator and skidsteer. Please let me know if this is an acceptable solution.?

A1: Yes, this solution is acceptable.
