Once as many deficiencies as possible have been completed, the Contactor may request a BOI and/or pre-final inspection.

Contractor shall provide an annotated punch-out inspection list with the request and shall give the Government at least five (5) working days advance notice before the requested date of BOI and/or pre-final inspection.

The Contractor shall record the results of the BOIs and the pre- final inspections. Any items noted on the BOI and pre-final inspection shall be corrected in a timely manner or the uncorrected items shall be annotated with a projected date for correction.

11.4.2. 11.4.3. The final acceptance inspection will be formally scheduled by the COR based upon results of the BOIs and pre-final inspections. Failure of the Contractor to have all contract work acceptably complete for this inspection will be cause for the Contracting Officer (CO) to bill the Contractor for the Government's additional inspection cost in accordance with the requirements set forth in the contract.
