1. Who owns the material staging area next to crooked road?

The staging area is owned by the State of Idaho

2. Do you have any information on water sources?

There are no water sources provided by the government. There are ranchers and farmers in the area that you might be able to work out a deal with. You may be able to work out a deal with the town of Parker, it is about 11.5 miles from Crooked Road.

3. What are the working hours?

Typical working hours are between 6AM and 6PM excluding weekends and federal holidays. Other hours can be agreed upon if needed.

4. What is the required thickness of the road?

The road shall be 14 feet wide with a thickness of 5 inches.

5. There are many lava ridges along the roadway. Can on-site material be barrowed to fill over these areas or do the lava ridges need to be removed?

The lava ridges are intended to stay. On-site shoulder/ditch material may be used to fill ridges if necessary. However, the 5 inches of placed cinder should be enough to cover lava ridges in most cases.

6. There are areas with inverted crown. Can waste material from digging ditches be used to build up the crown?

Yes, shoulder/ditch material may be used to build up the crown of the road.
