Question 3. Is the dead and down to be treated or left? (Pockets of large fallen trees and old junipers in the rocks.)

Answer 3: Dead and down will be left untreated.

Question 4: Is it possible to chip and remove the

Juniper? If so, if we are at it and if you are planning to remove larger than 8" / 10" in other species in another entry could you incorporate that into this contract (chip and remove)?

Answer 4: Chip and haul is not considered as a treatment option for this project. Mastication is the primary treatment method.

Question 5: Is there an upper diameter limit within the pine plantation? (verbal)

Answer: Although there is no diameter limit specified, the legacy trees shall be retained within the plantation. Recommendation would be too thin around the drip line of the legacy trees.
