Questions:

1. Q: What hours is the area open?

A: The area is open from 1 hr. before sunrise to 1 hr. after sunset.

2. Q: Do we have access with equipment to remove post and drill holes ?

A: It is all accessible by equipment.

3. Q: Do you have a place for treated wood waste to be dumped? The land fill/dump will not take it.

A: BLM will be responsible for disposing the wood waste. The contractor will stage in a specific location and then will be removed and disposed of by the BLM.

4. Q: Do we need to do any brush clearing and grubbing, or just follow the contours that are existing?

A: Some clearing or grubbing and small amounts of grading may be necessary, but the fence line will follow the contours.

5. Q: I don’t see specifications for cable size, should it be replaced with the same size?

A: This is in the Statement of Work:

For the "Wetland Area" section- "Cable from the current fence will be re-used. If a section of cable is not reusable, it will be replaced with 1/2” galvanized cable, only where necessary. For the "bunker fencing" the cable will be replaced with 1/2 inch galvanized cable."

For the "Bunker Area" section- "Cable around bunkers will be replaced with 1/2” galvanized cable."
