Text version

Q1. On the rolls of pipe going to Dillon, is there a required way those have to show up?

A1. That information is in the specifications document. It does need to come a certain way.

Q2. Does any of this need to be domestic pipe or fittings?

A2. The materials do need to be compliant with 52.225-1, Buy American-Supplies (OCT 2022) (41 U.S.C. chapter 83). Please also see 52.225-2 Buy American Certificate if you intend to offer foreign made supplies those need to be identified in your quote.

Q3. Are you using a fusion pipe or are you using HDPE for insert fittings? Because the pipe that I can get conforms to ASTM D 3350 and is a fusion pipe.

A3. All pipe will be fusion pipe, but these fittings don’t necessarily go with this pipe and the vendor does not need to consider how they will fit together.

Q4. If you are using a fusion pipe are you going to need the fusion fittings, if so are you using socket fusion or butt fusion?

A4. These fittings are not necessarily for this pipe and the vendor does not need to consider how they will fit together.
