Purpose: This is a Sources Sought Notice for the purpose of conducting market research, to gain knowledge regarding the type of interested businesses and their qualifications. Responses are being requested from both large and small businesses. Proposals are NOT being requested, nor accepted at this time. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will use information obtained through this notice to develop an acquisition strategy.
The government anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition for this requirement. The amount of interest or lack thereof will determine the possibility of a small business or other socio-economic small business set-aside for the solicitation. Quality of responses received will be considered when making any small business set-aside determinations for this requirement.
Not responding to this announcement does not preclude participation in any future solicitation. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on SAM.gov. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor the site for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
Cost Reimbursement: Response to this announcement is strictly voluntary. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow-up information requests.
Project Description: The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has a construction requirement which consists of all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and supervision to construct a 4,800 SF premanufactured warehouse and 3,200 SF carport. The project will include demolition of 3 existing structures and constructing and installing a steel premanufactured warehouse and vehicle shelter, complete with heaters, electrical, overhead doors, man doors, windows, concrete floor and approach. The project will also consist of asphalt patching, crack sealing, and slurry sealing of the existing asphalt.
The location of the project is the BLM Richfield Field Office, 150 East 900 North, Richfield, UT 84701.
Anticipated Period of Performance: 120 calendar days after issuance of the notice to proceed.
