Questions BLM Responses Does located near central Las Vegas include Henderson?
Hotels located in Henderson are not eligible for award.
Is this a brand new contract or was there an incumbent performing these services? This is a new requirement.
For this event, will the awarded business be required to go on-site for the duration of the event to assist in executing the event?
The provider awarded the site will be required to provide access and ensure daily cleanup of the facility.
Will the awarded entity be responsible for detailing of the event or does that get delegated to a staff member of the BLM?
We are not sure what "detailing" the event means? If it means establish setup of tables chairs, etc. then no a BLM staff will not do this. The BLM Staff will provide for the layout needs of the facility.
As the details of the request state the meeting room needs will be on the following dates: January 21, 22 and 31, February 04 through 07 and February 10 through 14, what will the attendees be doing on all other days? Do they have planned off-site events? I would just like to ensure that while on-site there will not be an expectation to obtain meeting space outside of the outlined dates and specified time
Attendees will be off site at planned events on dates where conference space is not needed. No meeting space should be reserved on dates not listed.
For the needed meeting dates, what food and beverage will be needed and at what times? Are there any budget guidelines that have been established for food and beverage spend?
Water and cups daily. At the start of day and refreshed through out the day.
Regarding audio visual needs, will BLM be providing any laptops/power cords for presentations or is that needed as part of an AV estimate?
BLM has their own laptops and power cords.
