About this file
This is a Buy American Certificate form (FAR 52.225-2) that requires offerors to certify the domestic content status of end products being proposed for the solicitation for a jet boat with motor and trailer (Solicitation 140G0326Q0194) issued by the Department of the Interior US Geological Survey Office of Acquisitions and Grants.
The certificate mandates that offerors identify each end product as either domestic or foreign. For domestic end products, offerors must certify compliance with Buy American requirements. For foreign end products that do not consist wholly or predominantly of iron or steel, offerors must indicate whether the product contains more than 55% domestic content, with the exception of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) items. The form requires offerors to separately list line item numbers for foreign end products by country of origin and domestic content percentage, as well as line item numbers for domestic end products containing critical components, if applicable. The Government will evaluate all offers in accordance with FAR Part 25 policies and procedures governing Buy American requirements.
