About this file

This document provides questions and answers regarding solicitation number 140G0223Q0131 for routine inspection, cleaning, calibration, maintenance, and repair services on various balances and mechanical volumetric dispensing devices (MVDD), and weight services for the National Water Quality Laboratory in Denver, Colorado. The services required include quarterly calibration and maintenance of pipettes, biannual calibration and maintenance of balances, and annual calibration and maintenance of weight sets. While the statement of work originally specified that the contractor must use the laboratory's computer, software, and templates for documentation, it now allows the contractor to use its own ISO/IEC 17025 accredited documentation system and templates. Calibration reports for pipettes must include test results for five aliquot volumes and test points and be traceable to NIST standards.
