Salient Characteristics S24077
MICROBIOLOGY ANALYZER
SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS:
1 EA, Analyzer:
1. Shall consist of an autonomous, self-contained, ALERT-type, system capable of collecting and analyzing pathogens in surface waters.
2. System shall be suitable for use in lakes, rivers, and water bodies near drinking or wastewater plants.
3. Shall be capable of being installed as a buoy or attached to a fixed structure.
4. Shall be field-ruggedized weighing no more than 40 lbs.
5. Shall have a response time no less than 1 hour.
6. Shall use reagents and be fully automated.
7. Shall be capable of obtaining E. coli, Total Coliforms, or Enterococci measurements through internal vacuum sampling and optical detection.
8. Shall have measurement range of at least 2 – 1×106 bacteria per 100 mL.
9. Shall be able to take at least 7 measurements on one charge.
10. Shall use GSM network for programing and data management.
i) Shall allow the user to start measurements via cell phone either manually or through pre-programming.
ii) Shall be capable of sending “alert” text messages via a cell phone.
11. Shall have a USB communication interface.
12. Shall include an internal, rechargeable, lithium-ion type battery and smart charger.
13. Shall have integrated internal antenna.

15. Shall be a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and include charging module.

16. Shall allow for on-line management support services the analyzer system described herein.

20. Shall automatically inject/mix reagents and begin incubation and measurement.

1 EA, Optional Annual Factory Maintenance:
22. Shall consist of annual maintenance and servicing, following 1 year warranty expiration, of the equipment and components described herein.
23. Such maintenance and servicing shall include but not be limited to:
i. Inspecting all parts, including seals, inside and out, for proper operation.
ii. Replacing any parts as required.
iii. Checking optics and electronics for proper function and operation according to manufacturer specifications.
iv. Updating the firmware to the latest version.
24. The option is available after the 1-year warranty expires and lasts the entirety of the unit’s life.
