About this file
This document outlines salient characteristics for 36 each of global navigation satellite system receivers and accessories to be procured by the United States Geological Survey Office of Acquisitions and Grants. Key requirements include GNSS receivers capable of tracking multiple satellite constellations with autonomous accuracy under 2 meters, differential GPS accuracy under 25 centimeters, and real-time kinematic accuracy of 1 centimeter plus 1 PPM. Receivers must operate for over 24 hours on a single battery charge and withstand temperatures from -40 to 60 degrees Celsius. Accessories include power cables, top plate adapters made of stainless steel, snow cone kits to encapsulate receivers, and accessory kits with power adapters, cables, and an external charger.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the Department of Interior for GNSS receivers to be acquired by the USGS Office of Acquisitions and Grants. Technical requirements for the receivers and included accessories are provided to inform supplier responses to the solicitation.
