Question #1: Can you give contractor(s) more detail on what the boat will be carrying as far as equipment?

Answer: During site construction, the boat will be carrying lumber between launch and site or between another shallow draft vessel (government operated) and data collection site. Once sites are established the boat will be carrying sampling equipment weighing no more than 300 lbs.

Question #2: What time will the work begin or what time will the boat need to be at the landing?

Answer: The work will often begin at sunrise at the landing.

Question #3: Is there an expected hour that the work will end allowing the contractor(s) to be back and have the boat on the trailer before dark?

Answer: The work will continue as weather and daylight conditions warrant. All work will be done in time for the boat to be on the trailer before dark. No pre-sunrise or post-sunset operation will be required.

Question #4: Is there only going to be one airboat out on the water?

Answer: During construction the government may provide an airboat/shallow draft vessel to ferry supplies from the launch closer to the site. However, the government airboat will not enter the forested habitat and will remain in navigable canals.
