This requirement is for hazardous fuels reduction on the Balcones Canyonlands NWR near

Marble Falls, TX. A performance work statement (PWS) to include a map, a past experiences/reference form, and the applicable wage determination are attached. The government intends to award a firm fixed contract as a result of this RFQ.

THE PURPOSE OF AMENDMENT 0001 IS TO CLARIFY THE PWS AND PROVIDE ADDITIONAL TIME TO QUOTE.

THIS RFQ SHALL CLOSE FOR QUOTES AT 7 PM ET ON AUGUST 18, 2023.

Vendors interested in submitting a quote are highly encouraged to schedule a site visit by contacting the technical point of contact listed below to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonable obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. The government will not pay for any costs associated with attending a site visit.

Offerors shall provide one (1) copy of an itemized price proposal and (1) one copy of a technical proposal. The technical proposal should be prepared simply and economically providing straight forward, concise delineation of capabilities. The information provided shall be factual and complete. Proposals that merely offer to provide services as described in the PWS will not receive further consideration for award. The proposal shall also include references using the attached "Past Experience and Reference Form".

All technical proposals must address the evaluation factors listed in the attached Notice to Quoters technical experience section.
