Motorized Centrifugal Irrigation Pump on A Trailer McNary NFH Complex
Below are questions received and the government’s response:
QUESTION 1: Is there a GPM requirement for this diesel mounted pump? Usually, the government requires a Tier 4 diesel engine as well, is this a requirement? Does the government already have one of these units on site? If so, what manufacturer/model is it?
ANSWER: We need the pump to provide 5,000GPM (flow requirements). We do require a Tier 4 diesel engine to be provided to operate the pump.
QUESTION 2: Are there any flow requirements on this pump/motor combo?
ANSWER: See response to Question 1
QUESTION 3: Does this need to be a new unit? We have refurbished pumping units in stock.
ANSWER: A new unit is required.
QUESTION 4: Does this unit need to be set up in place and tested or just supplied?
ANSWER: No set-up or testing of the unit is required since only a new unit will be accepted.
