Requests for Information Q&A
1. Is the SOW expansion goal to implement the program in the 'range' states ‐ Utah and Arizona, with state standards inclusive? The Goal is the focus on our State but to have something other states could modify to their state standards.
2. Is the expansion remaining in the 3rd‐ and 7th‐grade curriculum areas or adding additional grade levels? Staying
3. Specific to Deliverable 6: The items listed, especially the curriculum and website/media, could have pretty much any scope (limited, moderate, significant), in terms of length, size, number of pages, and use of video—including production, etc. While we have ideas, many of these things will be determined through collaboration on Deliverables 1‐5. Is there any guidance that can be provided, specific to the scope of Program Resources, and materials development in particular, to inform our project costing, as well as timeline planning? For example, a website could be very simplistic, or quite elaborate in terms of design, set‐up, functionality, and the number of pages hosted? Or is the intent here to have the selected contractor design and deliver specifications for materials, but not actually produce them? #6 would be highlighting existing “Program Resources” in the plan and finally identify program resource needs above what currently exist. IE. Educational kits, Curriculum, Website and coloring books exist already!
4. Specific to Deliverable 8: I didn’t see a due date listed. Curious what that would be, as it figures into timeline—and, perhaps, they intend for it to be fluid based on first draft comments? Six months to a year but it would be adjustable.
5. How much of this work is expected to physically be done at the place of performance in California? In other words, for how much of this project will the contractor need to have staff on site? For the most part this could be done remotely but we would need to have some in person meetings. For example defining educational kits, they would need to see what’s in the kits.
6. Will the contractor be responsible for creating/programming a website? No, a Condor kids website currently exists. www.condorkids.org . We just want to ensure current website is aligned with the new plan. Vendor is not expected to work on the website and only expected to ensure the plan is aligned with the website.
7. Will the contractor be responsible for creating/printing coloring books? NO want to ensure current Coloring book is aligned with new plan.
8. What is meant by website/media? Highlighting within the plan that we have a website.
Again 6 is just highlighting what resources we currently have available within the plan and making sure the plan aligns with them and they align with the plan.
9. Are proposal cover pages and over letters included in the page count limitation? No’
Proposal Submission Requirements
10. What is the maximum page limit? 50 pages.
11. Are proposal cover pages and cover letters included in the page count limitation? No.
SCA Provisions
12. Which executive order applies to this contract? EO 14026.
13. If we are primarily using residents of Virginia for this work, who will do most of the work from their offices in Virginia, would the wage rates for the CA WD or VA WD be applicable? CA WD will be applicable.
