Honda Model BF150A2XA Or Equal Outboard Engine
QUESTION: Are these engines going on boats that are currently rigged with Honda 150’s? If so, an adapter harness will need to be ordered per engine as well. If the adapter harness is needed, do you need 6’ or 10’?
RESPONSE: Yes, they currently run 150s. We are not aware of an adapter harness, but I will get with my mechanics on that. If she says we need one, then we probably need one. I just don’t know what it connects to, so I don’t know what length we need.
QUESTION: Do you want digital or analog gauges?
RESPONSE: The normal gauges we run have a analog display for RPMs and a digital display for hours.
Part number 06326-ZX2-T12AH. Anything equivalent to that is fine.
QUESTION: White or black face?
RESPONSE: White face
QUESTION: Do you need any harnesses, throttle/shift cables or props?
RESPONSE: Yes, to all, if using newest model engine
QUESTION: If so, what length on the harnesses?
RESPONSE: FWS assumes that an older model doesn’t require adapters. If it’s a new engine with its warranty intake, any recent year model, i.e., 2016 and up, will suffice. The Harness length is 10’
QUESTION: Stainless or aluminum props?
RESPONSE: Aluminum, 14.5” 19P
