Solicitation Questions and

U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service Response

QUESTION: Confirm the average diameter of the trees to be masticated.

FWS RESPONSE: The average diameter of the salt cedar is around 6 inches. Although we do have some trees that are 25" in diameter.

QUESTION: What is the average number of trees per Acre?

FWS RESPONSE: We don't have an average of trees/acre, we just have a percent cover of the project area, with salt cedar making up about 35% of the cover in the project area.
