The document is a Questions and Answers file for Solicitation 140FNR25Q0025, focused on Deepwater Horizon Natural Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA) Negotiations Support for the Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service. The Q&A reveals that the contract is primarily for litigation support and strategic assistance, with the contractor expected to be on retainer to provide workload support. Specific meeting and engagement expectations include participating in up to 5 in-person meetings (1-2 days each) located in Alabama or Georgia, attending monthly conference calls lasting 1-4 hours, and providing technical and strategic case settlement assistance throughout the contract period. Question and Answers 140FMR25Q0025 Anniston Negotiations Support

QuestionIt appears that this is all reviewing information and giving feedback/guidance. No true field sampling. Is that correct?
AnswerYes, that's correct
QuestionIs it possible to get an idea of how many documents there are to review and how much time to plan for?
AnswerNot really. We more or less want them on retainer to provide workload support up to the amount of the contract. Let me know if we need something more specific here and we can create that guideline.
QuestionIs it expected that since this is litigation support, that we may need to go to court as an expert at some point during this process?
AnswerWe are not looking to hire them as an expert witness at this point. (I believe if we go to court we'll generate specific expert witness contracts.)

Question Are most meetings going to be in Anniston and/or conference calls and is there any guidance on how many hours of meetings are needed?

Answer This is somewhat unknown. However, for budgeting purposes let's assume:

Participate in up to 5 in-person meetings, 1-2 days each, either in Anniston or Fairhope, Alabama, or Atlanta, Georgia.

Participate in case team conference calls, 1-4 hours each, up to 1 per month throughout the period of performance.

Provide technical and strategic assistance to the FWS in the case settlement process, as needed throughout the period of performance.
