About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document from Amendment 1 of solicitation 140FGA26Q0015. It addresses contractor inquiries regarding boiler specifications and installation requirements for a bunkhouse facility project.
The respondent provided photographic documentation of boiler tags and installation details in response to questions about boiler specifications, fuel type, BTU capacity, hot water load analysis, and venting requirements. Key clarifications include: the facility uses propane fuel (not natural gas); the bunkhouse accommodates up to 4 occupants with three toilets, three showers, three bathroom sinks, four bedroom sinks, and a standard kitchen, resulting in moderate potable hot water demand; the government indicated no GPM load analysis was available; and venting information was not provided. Photographs show boiler nameplate details, installation labels, and piping/control configurations. A service tag from Sprinter Heating & Hydronics, LLC indicates work performed on the system (replicated injector on 10/2/12).

Questions 140FGA26Q0015 – Amendment 1
Question: Are there any pictures of the boiler tag on this project.
Is it propane or natural gas?
What BTUs boiler?
Do you have a GPM load analysis for building potable hot water load?
The venting is very critical do you have venting pics with lengths and fittings?
Answer: Here are some photos that provide the requested information. I do not know what the GPM analysis is however I can tell you that this building (bunkhouse) houses up to 4 people and has three toilets, three showers, three bathroom sinks and 4 sinks in the bedrooms, plus a standard kitchen - the demand is not that high. Propane fueled. I do not have info on venting.
