About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) amendment for Solicitation No. 140FGA25R0014 for rehabilitating Fish Hatchery Road. The solicitation involves road rehabilitation work for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, with a project estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. Key details include an extended proposal due date of June 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM PDT, with all proposals to be submitted via email to the Contract Specialist.
The Q&A addresses multiple technical and procedural questions, including drainage pipe routing, concrete valley gutter specifications, payment terms, and bonding requirements. Notable points include monthly progress payments with a 14-day payment timeline, performance and payment bonds set at 100% of the original contract price, and a requirement for the contractor to commence work within 5 calendar days of receiving a notice to proceed. The government has limited the project scope due to funding constraints and specified that removed asphalt pavement must be disposed of according to specified guidelines.
