STATEMENT OF WORK

SUPPLY AND DELIVER WATER CONTROL STRUCTURES AND CULVERTS

1. GENERAL: The Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge will require the supply and delivery of pre-cast concrete water control structures and concrete box culverts including all associated pipe and hardware to the headquarters of Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge in Willows, CA. See deliverable specifications below:

2. SCOPE:

Supply and deliver precast structures.

3’W x 4’H twin-track risers with HDPE stubs 24”D x 10’L male end with gasket (6 count).

3’W x 4’H twin-track risers with galvanized CMP stubs 24”D x 8’L gauge 12 (1 Count) 3’ W x 3' H tail walls with 24’ HDPE stub (7 count).

3’W x 2’H twin track riser extensions (7 count).

5’W x 3’H (interior dimensions) box culvert with minimum 5” thick walls, not to exceed 8’ each in length (Total length of 120’ and any associated gasket hardware).

24” minimum in height, not to exceed 36” in height, not to exceed 10’ each in length concrete retaining walls to retain road surface material on top of box culverts (total length of 150’).

Supply and deliver pipe.

24”D x 20’L corrugated bell-end, dual wall HDPE pipe with gaskets (16 count).

24” MarMac polyseal banded sticky couplers (16 count) 24” x 30’ CMP gauge 12 (3 count) 24” CMP coupler corrugated

3. PLACE/DELIVERY AND PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Deliveries of pipe and risers to be delivered on job site in the field at multiple sites or if necessary, determined by Refuge Manager or site foreman to be delivered in parking lots on the property or at the shop yard within 5 miles from the Headquarters Office. Access to these sites would be earthen levees along a canal or wetlands. Delivery of the concrete box culverts will be directly to the installation site. Access to these sites would be earthen levees along a canal or wetlands. Culverts will need to be placed in the dry canal parallel to County Road 99W. There will be 4 install sites in the canal. Access to these sites would be earthen levees along a canal or wetlands.

Period of performance (POP) will begin upon award and approval of the contract. The pipes and risers and hardware, to be delivered within the first 30 day of award. Followed by the box culverts to be delivered before July 31st, 2025.

4. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED EQUIPMENT OR

MATERIALS/INFORMATION:

US Fish and Wildlife equipment and staff will be responsible for spreading gravel and final grade.

5. AVAILABILITY: Normal duty hours are Monday thru Friday 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
