1. When will more detailed plot plans be available?
More detailed plans are not needed. This work is straightforward.
2. What about the utilities - where is the bathroom going to be located? The utility work needs to be done before the slab is poured but it is not shown on the diagram?
Utility work is not part of this contract.
3. Where is the power at the site?
Power originates from Route 1 and services the buildings near the slab location.
4. What are the setbacks?
The slab location will be staked out. It is in a field. It is not level. It will require site work to prepare the location for the slab construction.
5) When is the slab going to be staked out?
The slab will be staked out prior to work proceeding. A site visit can be arranged to show all interested parties the approximate location. It is in a grassland field that will require site preparation prior to the pour of the slab.
5. What is the road width around the building.
This contract is not for road work. The site where the slab is to be constructed will be staked out. There will be sufficient room around the slab location to drive a truck around the slab location without having to remove trees.
6. Do you want to bring water and plumbing up through the slab?
No, there will be no water and plumbing through this slab. Another building will be constructed nearby at a future date that will have these features.
7. As for Electricity, you can set that up on the side of the building?
This contract does not include the installation of electric service to the slab location.
8. How high off the ground do you want the top of Slab?
The concrete slab shall be constructed above grade and gravel will be placed around the perimeter of the slab, to slope approximately 5% towards the existing surrounding grade.
9. Is there a plan for a Gravel Driveway leading to the building?
No, construction of a gravel driveway is not part of this contract.
10. Where exactly is the slab going? Says north side of existing field, against tree line. The picture shows two fields with treelines to the north.
The slab location is in a field that will require site work to insure drainage away from the slab. The vegetation to be removed is grass. The location will be staked out prior to work starting.
11. Is there an access road to be built to the new slab?
This contract does not include building an access road. Access to the slab location is over a field of grass.
