EMERGENCY Roof Repair
Location Site:
Rice Lake National Wildlife Refuge
36289 State Hwy 65
McGregor, MN 55760
POP: 08/28/2024 – 09/30/2024
Goods and Services:
Materials, labor, disposal of old shingles for roof replacement on building at the Rice Lake National Wildlife Refuge.
The roof on the Rice Lake NWR Headquarters building is only four years old, so it is imperative the roof be repaired as promptly as possible. Approved contractor will tear off current shingles only on the west side of the roof on the Rice Lake NWR Headquarters Office building, felt, and all other roofing parts and vents as needed, and replace with new 30-year shingles to match, as well as apply synthetic felt, starter vents, and all other required parts. Shingles removed, and all other debris, including staples or nails are to be disposed of properly by the vendor awarded the contract.
Vendors submitting buds, must break bids out to separately reflect labor costs and material costs.
Timelines:
We are on very stringent timelines. The desire is to have the project completed by 09/30/2024, but knowing that is a short turn-around time even for an emergency request, we would be willing to go to 10/20/24. Winter in Minnesota can come early, and it is imperative the project be completed prior to the arrival of snow, ice, and wind.
