Helicopter maintenance services in support of the U.S. Park Police, Washington DC
PRESOLICITATION NOTICE SOLICITATION 140D0426R0005
This is a Presolicitation Notice only. The Interior Business Center (IBC), Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD), on behalf of the Department of the Interior’s (DOI) Office of Aviation Services (OAS), is announcing an upcoming requirement for helicopter maintenance services for Government-owned aircraft.
The requirement supports the U.S. Park Police in Washington, DC, and will result in a single-award contract for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of Government-owned helicopters. Services will include, but are not limited to:
· Inspections and preventative maintenance
· Repairs, rebuilding, and alterations
· Painting and refurbishment
· Engineering services and parts manufacturing
· Servicing of airframes, engines, rotors, avionics, appliances, and components
· Engine and component overhauls All services will be performed in proximity to the aircraft’s reporting bases.
The Government intends to issue one solicitation for an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a five-year ordering period, anticipated to run from April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2031. An additional six-month extension may be exercised under FAR 52.217-8.

· Projected Proposal Due Date: January 19, 2026 Offerors must be registered in SAM.gov to be eligible for award. This procurement will be full and open competition, with no set-asides, under NAICS code 488190 – Aircraft Maintenance and Repair Services (excluding factory conversion, overhaul, or rebuilding).
