About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document (Amendment 001) for federal solicitation 140D0426Q0471, addressing clarifications regarding probate appraisal services. The document contains responses to three bidder inquiries concerning the appraisal requirements.
The solicitation pertains to multiple probate appraisals with varying effective dates based on individual landowner dates of death: 05/23/2020, 03/22/2017, 07/17/2020, 03/24/2016, 08/21/2021, 01/01/2018, and 05/19/2024. Government clarification confirms that physical inspections of subject properties are not required for the appraisal cases. Regarding comparable sales data, the government response indicates that while the Department of Interior/Agency (AVSO) may share available data relevant to the appraisals, bidders should independently conduct their own market research and comparable sales analysis rather than relying on government-provided comparable data.
