About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) attachment related to a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the ARHO - Fire & Intrusion Repair contract opportunity. The RFQ seeks to replace and repair 9 TG-7 systems and the fire alarm system at Building 313. The government confirmed there are 9 TG-7 systems that need to be replaced and that the fire alarm system replacement at Building 313 should be brought up to current code standards, potentially requiring a new Notifier FACP and devices. The contractor will need to verify the newly installed equipment communicates with the existing Telguard monitoring service, but is not required to provide new monitoring services. No award date, pricing terms, or set asides were provided in the Q&A.

RFQ 140D0424Q0581 – ARHO Fire & Intrusion Replacement and Repair

Questions and Answers

Attachment 1

Vendor Question Government Answer The scope stated that 9 TG-7s needed to be upgraded but we only saw 3 – are there indeed 9?

Based on previous market research the locations of the 9 TG-7s needing replaced should be available.

We didn’t see the security in some of the buildings, are the communicators in those TG-7s?

Yes

For Bldg. 313 is the fire alarm replacement for the existing System 3 FACP and devices being done on a 1 for 1 replacement? Or are we bringing the system up to current code standards?

If replacing in kind is not within current code requirements than we would want it brough up to code.

Notifier SFP-10UD and devices with a new Silent Knight FACP and devices?

Yes

The RFQ states for each location that monitoring accounts should be established for each Telguard communicator. Can you confirm that you want us to include pricing for monitoring services at each location?

We have a current agreement with Telguard.

We would not need a monitoring service at this time- our need is for the contractor to verify/ensure the newly installed equipment communicates with Telgaurd.
